I got that a lot

 I GOT THAT A LOT..

What was the statement that usually we get used to hear in life? It was something that everyone would experienced when talking with anyone whether what others expecting about you, what the world around you say about you. It was always happened. Well as we know, when meeting up with someone the first thing we would always love to do is judging someone based on his or her appearance.

Back to the main topic, what was I got a lot? I will always hear that someone say my face is absolutely like my mother. I can tell that most of my mother's friend or other relatives would say that to me. Even my friends always tell me that I am totally same like my mother. They will always easily recognize my mother even if I'm never told them. I had get used with it since it was always happen to me. Well, like mother like daughter right?

Actually everyone around me would always compare me with my sister. They will always think I am the older sister compare to my sister. I don’t even know why. Maybe I look more matured or maybe she looks so young. Actually until now I am still didn’t know the truth reason is. But it doesn’t really matter to me as the truth is I am the younger sister.

Apart from that my mother keeps reminding me to put the family as the first priority no matter what was happen. I should always help each other even if I becoming a rich person or becoming someone that is successful in life. The most important thing is to have a good relationship with the family members. Never proud with anything that you have as everything that you have is from the barakah of their prayers. They will always pray for your success in hereafter, support whatever you are doing, motivate you and always be there for you through thick and thin.

Moreover most of my friends always think that I am the youngest in my family. They will shock when they know that I have two younger brothers. They said that I am suite enough like a youngest child. How come they always think like that? Hmm, maybe they think that my parent always pampering me. The truth is my parent especially my mom whose always treat each of her children like that.

People who first meet me will say that I am quite snobbish, quiet and unfriendly. But if they know me closer they will say that I am a person that easily laugh and sometimes doesn’t know how to stop laughing. I am very friendly and can friend with anyone. But I admit that something I am pretty hard to break the ice when met new people. But, after starting any conversation I can get along with it. Better know me before judging me okay?

I think that all from me. Hope you like it.

Making judgement

Hello everyone! Okay, I have been given another task to write an entry which is entitled 'making judgement'. Actually this is the my first entry in this new year, 2016. It have been awhile since I wrote the entry before. Did you know what is the meaning of making judgement? Making judgement is the act or process of forming an opinion or decision that is based on external appearance.

People can often be treated and judged in the less than equal manner before the people even know the true nature of the person. One of my most favorite quotations is that of Martin Luther King Junior. "I have a dream, that one day my children will be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." People should make judgement of the person's character, not by their appearance, race, religion, and morals. This is because it is unfair to make assumptions about a person's character based on outward appearance and because people change their appearance to fit different situations.

Everyday people make assumptions based on other's appearance instead of knowing their true color of behaviour. I believe that this is not the right way to do. To begin with, someone's external experience is not a mirror of his or her inner self. I can relate of example form my own life, have an experience on how the people around me say that I am a quiet person and I am not so friendly. Even my bestfriend said that too when she met me for the first time. The truth is I am a person who not seem friendly but if you get to know me further I am a person that can easily laugh even for a small jokes. Yeah, I know that we are all the same as human being ,we keep easily judge someone without getting to know each other first.

Never judge a book by its cover. For instance, Napoleon Bonaparte, who was a very short guy, is one of the famous people in the history; besides, many scientists and great men in the world have had inappropriate faces or clothes but they always stick in our mind because of their admirable characters.

If you still remember the story about Michael Oher that is from the true story that I had been wrote on my previous entry. It was how easily people making judgement based on his body sizes, he was came from a drug addicted parent and he is a homeless teenage Africa- american. This is not fair for us to easily think that he is a not useful and cannot be successful person.

Similarly judgement based on their on external appearance can lead us to the conclusions that are not true. In Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice, the heroine Elizabeth forms a strong opinions of a man's character before she hears his side of the story. But the balance of the facts reveals that she made a wrong judgement.

In conclusion, judgement based on external appearance creates a wrong perception. External appearance often does not expose everything about a man. We never know what is the story behind every person that we met. We never now how hard his or her life that they have been through before. So we should be aware before we jump into any conclusions.
